Every year we get customers saying they love the look of poinsettias but they can't cause they're poisonous. Well- it's been a misconception for over 100 years that is just NOT true.
Yes, if you have a skin sensitivity the milky sap can cause an irritation but it's not deadly. A child or pet would have to eat roughly 500 bracts to start showing signs of irritation (upset stomach, etc.) If your concerned just make sure it's in a spot that they can't get to.
